A 2019. évi borrendi események összefoglalása, rendezvények és az ezeken való részvétel

A borrend kéthavonta rendszeresen ülésezik, ha pedig az ügy fontossága megkívánja, alkalmanként köztes üléseket is tartunk. A tagok részvétele általában 70-80%-os, a jelentét mindig többségi.
Az éves rendezvényeink, illetve a programok, amelyeket mi szerveztünk, illetve amelyeken részt vettünk:
Január 19-én éves rendes borrendi közgyűlést tartottunk Csömörön, mind a 18 fő borrendi tag képviseltette magát. Értékeltük a 2018. évi tevékenységünket és meghatároztuk a 2019. évi feladatainkat, céljainkat.
Január – március: A Pannonia Aranygyűrű Pályázat meghirdetése és lebonyolítása, a beküldött pályamunkák alapján a győztesek kiválasztása.
Március 7-én a Pannonia Aranygyűrű Pályázat hivatalos eredményhirdetése az Ybl Budai Kreatív Házban. A nyílt pályázat útján az Alapítvány Kuratóriuma által a tárgyévben kiválasztott fiatal magyar borász a villányi borvidékről ifjabb Tiffán Zsolt lett.
Április 24-én Borrendi ülést tartottunk, ahol véglegesítettük az éves programunkat, ismertettük az új felkéréseket. Szó esett a wine in moderation-el összefüggő tennivalókról, illetve értékeltük a Pannonia Aranygyűrű pályázatunkat.
Május 25-én Borrendi ülést tartottunk Verőcén, ahol a második félév rendezvényeit és teendőit beszéltük meg, illetve döntöttünk a tagjelöltekről. Itt került sor továbbá a 2018. évi közhasznú egyszerűsített éves beszámoló és közhasznúsági jelentés elfogadására is.
2019.06-11 F.I.C.B Challenge Finnország
Július 19-21-ig szakmai kirándulást tartottunk a Neszmélyi borvidéken, amely során ellátogattunk Bott Frigyes, a Kősziklás és a Szőllősi pincészetekbe. Végezetül Tatán, a Platán átteremben tartottuk meg Borrendünk megalakulásának 15. jubileumi ünnepségét.
Szeptember 7-én a Budai Várban a Budai Bor- és Pezsgőfesztiválon a borrendi ülés megtartására került sor, ahol a Borrend hosszú távú céljait vázoltuk fel, illetve felkutattuk lehetséges partnereinket és kialakítottuk a jövőbeni stratégiánkat. Továbbá itt egyeztettük az Év borásza gálavacsoránk részleteit.
Október 10-én Borrendi ülést tarttünk, ahol napirendre elsődlegesen a borrendi avatás került.
November 7-én a Borrendünk avatási ceremóniáját a budapesti Radisson Béke Blu Hotelben tartottuk, ahol mintegy 120 fős borvacsora kíséretében, Balla Géza, az „Év borásza” bemutatta borászatát és borait. Az est folyamán Balla Géza borai kerültek felszolgálásra a menühöz és a vendégek szavazatai alapján került kiválasztásra – a már megszokott módon – borrendünk zászlós bora.
December 12-én a Pesti Vigadó Víg Varjú Éttermében tarttuk évzáró ülésünket, ahol értékeltük az év eseményeit és a megtartott rendezvényeinket. A korábban elfogadott feladatainkat és távlati céljainkat beszéltük meg,
Summary of wine events, activities and participation in 2019
Members of the Wine Sisterhood meet regularly every two months, with occasional interim meetings when the importance of the matter requires. The attendance of members is usually 70-80%, with a majority always voting in favour.
Events and programmes of the year were as follows:
19th of January we held our annual general meeting in Csömör, all 18 members were present. We evaluated our activities in 2018 and defined our tasks and goals for 2019.
January - March: the Pannonia Golden Ring Competition was announced and ran, and the winners were selected based on the applications submitted.
7th of March - The results of the Pannonia Golden Ring Competition were announced at the Ybl Buda Creative House. The young Hungarian winemaker from the Villány wine region, Zsolt Tiffán Jr., was selected by the Foundation's Board in an open competition.
24th of April - We held a meeting of the members of the Wine Sisterhood, where we finalised our annual programme and presented the new invitations. We also discussed the work to be done in connection with wine in moderation and evaluated our Pannonia Gold Ring competition.
25th of May - We held a meeting of the Wine Sisterhood in Verőce, where we discussed the events and tasks for the second half of the year and decided on the candidates for membership. We also adopted the simplified annual accounts and the public benefit report for 2018.
06th – 11th June, 2019 - F.I.C.B Challenge Finland
19th – 21st of July - We made a professional excursion to the Neszmély wine region, visiting the Bott Frigyes, Kősziklás and Szőllősi wineries. Finally, we held the 15th anniversary celebration of the founding of our wine-growing association in Tata, in the Platán hall.
7th of September - The Bordeaux meeting was held at the Buda Wine and Champagne Festival in Buda Castle, where we outlined the long-term goals of the Wine Sisterhood. We identified potential partners and developed our future strategy. We also agreed the details of our Winemaker of the Year Gala Dinner.
10th of October - We held a meeting of the Wine Sisterhood, where the main item on the agenda was the election of new members.
7th of November - We held the ceremony of electing new members into our Wine Sisterhood at the Radisson Béke Blu Hotel in Budapest, where Géza Balla, the "Winemaker of the Year", presented his winery and wines to a wine dinner of about 120 people. During the evening, Géza Balla's wines were served with the menu and, as usual, the flagship wine of our wine-growing region was chosen by the guests' votes.
12th of December - We held our year-end meeting in the Restaurant Víg Varjú of the Vigadó in Pest, where we evaluated current events and the events held by us. We discussed our previously agreed tasks and our goals for the future.
