Szakmai konferencia, a Somló-hegy borászatáról (2016. július 15-17.)
FICB 2016 USA
A Pannónia Női Borrend 2016. június 8-tól a kaliforniai Santa Rosaban és NAPA valamint SONOMA valley területén népszerűsítette a magyar borokat és Magyarországot. A program egyik kiemelt eseménye volt a „Világ Borai” bemutató, ahol 7 borvidéket mutattunk be egy-egy termelőtől származó borral. A bemutató kóstoltatással egybekötött rendezvény volt, amelyen a San Franciscoi alkonzulátus vezetője is részt vett.
A Turizmus Zrt-től átvett prospektusokat, a borokkal együtt mutattuk be, a mintegy 200 fő résztvevőnek, akik 12 országból érkeztek. Többüknek utazási szándéka volt Magyarországra, úgyhogy nagy örömmel vették a közvetlen tájékoztatást hazánkról, a borvidékekről, a gasztronómiáról.
A Pannónia Női Borrend 2016. januári közgyűlése
Éves közgyűlésünket idén januárban Hollókőn tartottuk meg.
Értékeltük a 2015-ös év eseményeit. Igen tartalmas évet hagytunk magunk mögöttünk: részt vettünk az FICB párizsi konferenciáján, majd itthon lezárult a harmadik alkalommal meghirdetett Aranygyűrű pályázatunk. Sajtótájékoztatón mutattuk be a pályázókat és adtuk át a díjat a nyertesnek, Keresztes Ákos tokaji borásznak.
Krasznahorka polgármesterének meghívására részt vettünk a Borrend támogatásával elkészülhetett harangok felszentelésén, majd szakmai kiránduláson mélyítettük el borral és gasztronómiával kapcsolatos ismereteinket Egerben. Ősszel ismét egy kitűnő gálavacsorán avattunk tiszteletbeli és pártoló tagokat és megünnepeltük a 2014. év Magyarországi Bortermelőjét, Dúzsi Tamást is.
Közgyűlésünkön meghatároztuk a 2016-os feladataink fő irányait és összeállítottuk az idei programtervünket.
A munka mellett lehetőségünk volt megtekinteni Hollókőt, a Világörökségi falut, ahol az ott élők a mesebeli kis házak között mai nap is ápolják az ősöktől örökölt hagyományaikat.

Professional Conference on the Somló Wine Region (15–17 July 2016)
FICB 2016 – USA
From 8 June 2016, the Pannonia Women’s Wine Order represented Hungarian wine and Hungary itself in Santa Rosa, California, as well as in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys.
One of the programme’s highlights was the “Wines of the World” presentation, where we introduced seven Hungarian wine regions, each represented by a single wine. The showcase included a guided tasting and was attended by the head of the San Francisco Consulate.
We presented brochures provided by the Hungarian Tourism Agency alongside the wines to the roughly 200 participants who attended from 12 countries. Many expressed interest in travelling to Hungary, so they welcomed first‑hand information about our country, wine regions, and gastronomy.
Annual General Assembly of the Pannonia Women’s Wine Order – January 2016
Our annual general assembly was held in Hollókő this year.
We reviewed the events of 2015, which proved to be a rich and productive year: we attended the FICB conference in Paris, completed the third edition of our Golden Ring Competition, presented the applicants at a press event, and awarded the prize to Ákos Keresztes, a winemaker from Tokaj.
At the invitation of the mayor of Krasznahorka, we also attended the consecration of newly restored bells – a project supported by our Wine Order. Afterwards, we expanded our knowledge of wine and gastronomy through a professional excursion in Eger.
In autumn, during an exceptional gala dinner, we inducted new honorary and supporting members and celebrated Tamás Dúzsi, the 2014 Winemaker of the Year in Hungary.
During the general assembly, we defined the strategic priorities for 2016 and established our programme plan for the year.
Alongside the formal agenda, we had the opportunity to visit Hollókő, the UNESCO World Heritage village, where the residents continue to preserve the traditions inherited from their ancestors among the fairy‑tale‑like houses.
